Even at Macy's, Bed, Bath, & Beyond, and the Tassimo website it is still $9.99. However, I pay less than $7 per pack (it goes on sale every 6 weeks). Go somewhere else to buy this product. I buy this product every week at Target. I like it better than even Starbucks. I normally consider Amazon.com as having extremely good prices - but in this case, a rip-off.
Not really a wise choice to buy here. You can get them for $9.99 each at any Bed Bath and Beyond without having to pay so much for shipping. The coffee itself deserves 5 stars, but this price is absurd. Unless I am reading something wrong, you only get two packages. The Tassimo site even sells them for $9.99 a package.
And making them could not be easier or quicker. The latte, chai latte and hot chocolate we've tried so far have been delicious. I just wish the T-Discs weren't so expensive.
This is a delicious cappuccino option for Tassimo beverage systems, and at a fair price point (especially considering the price you'd pay for the same thing at coffee shops). I'll definitely be purchasing more of these in the near future. MMmmmmm-MMMMMM. The flavor is bold, and the 2% milk froths up nicely.
This is the only reason that I gave it less than 5 stars. No more detours, no more waiting in line. The coffee is delicious. We like a tall latte and not quite so strong so we either hold the manual button or open & close the unit and run the brewing cycle more than once. Add the cost plus the detour from our route to work and the time to sit in the drive up line and these were costly cups of coffee.
It would be nice if this were more automatic. We figured the machine paid for itself in 3 weeks. I bought the Tassimo machine figuring I hand nothing to loose to give it a try. My husband and I were spending almost $10 a day at the local coffee shop for a large latte for each of us. Wow, I was pleasantly surprised.
My only request would be an option of a longer brewing cycle.
